  The partnership firm of M/s Borkar & Shenoy was formed on 29th August, 2000 with Mr. Girish Borkar & Mr. Deepak Shenoy as partners with the aim of providing value added professional services in various fields. Mr. Girish Borkar is holding a certificate of practice since 1987 and Mr. Deepak Shenoy since 1985. Mr. Ananthram Rao joined the firm as a partner on 4th March, 2002 and he holds a certificate of practice from 1993. Mr. Deepak Shenoy retired as a partner with effect from 1st August, 2003. Mr. Jayesh Kulkarni joined as a partner from 1st April, 2009 so as to add more value to the firm.
Mr Jayesh Kulkarni retired from the firm w.e.f. 31st March, 2014 to pursue his higher educational pursuits, including studying for a Ph.D. and to concentrate on his teaching career. Mr. Vijay Gorivale was admitted as a partner w.e.f. 1st April, 2014 so as to add value and take on responsibilities in the area of assurance and taxation services.
We represent the Body of Knowledge and Experience in the Field of Business Process Outsourcing, Financial Consultancy, Statutory Audit, Internal Audit and Tax Management. The firm specializes in statutory and internal audits of Companies, Banks and co-operative institutions. It carries out work in the field of taxation, project finance and investment consultancy. The partners have a wealth of experience in the above fields, local as well as international. The assignments undertaken by the firm are given in the individual resumes of the partners. The office set-up functions in a fully computerized environment connected through an intranet. The office has a staff strength of 20, including 15 articled clerks. Apart from the full-time staff, we have 4 CA's, 5 senior audit assistants on call at any given moment of time to undertake audit assignments. Currently due to the pandemic we are working from home and have set up a work from home software and environment which takes care of all client requirements. The firm has moved quickly towards digitization using technology as an efficiency tool.
